Is cav now the best sprinter in tour history? He has more stage wins than super mario and has proved this year that he doesn't always need his own lead out train to make other sprinters average
Do you know Elvis???????????????

I Think he is Rupe, Last nights sprint into Bordeaux was yet another example of the
kick he has in the final 150 -200 and after a day in the Mountains!!
Paris Looming, and I'm sure what team he has coupled with other teams wanting to get petacchi etc near the front Cav (If needed will come off someone else's wheel to snatch a 2nd Paris win)
love him or hate him - Cav's the MAN

Yeah I think he does come across like a mard arse at times but there is a lot of top sports men who are the same. Then again there is a lot of sports men who have a better attitude but they don't win as much. Arrogance seems to be a common trait with people at the top of there sport I just think some people have more carisma than others and that covers it

to be fair, you need lots of confidence as a sprinter but confidence can quite often come across as arrogance
it's getting the balance right on and off the bike.
ps. Cav was in a class of his own on Sunday
2009 LVRC National Track Time Trail Champion
2009 LVRC Sprint Silver Medalist
I'm like a Rolex watch, a bit bling but dead reliable

In my opinion he would benfit to take some note of your comments Phil..spot on there, he is getting better but needs to tame the monster that keeps making an appearance off the bike...
However can't take it away from him....brilliant finisher...that turn of speed is phenomenal...I do like him even though i went on about his teddy throwing antics.

Oh my ...
That side shot of the pretenders going for it - Then Suddenly
Bam a yellow and white Tornado shot out on the Far side and win by
well a big margin..
I think it's been a great Tour, for me the Pave's were great to watch on TV AND
hopefully to be repeated one year

By the way I forgot to say.
I am a Rugby man of many years standing, now transformed into a cyclist coz I'm too old to play the 'mans game' any more.
Us rugby lads were desperate for a world cup win. The Kiwi's won it, the Aussie's won it(in England), the Saffer's won it. What a state of affairs, we were desperate to win it & couldn't, until......
The massia, Sir Clive, and a team who didn't look shit, a general, a kicker, the complete picture AND they won!!!!!!
And straight after did we support them, did we share their learnings for the next generation, did we tell everyone that these guys are showing us the way forward.
No did we Bo££oX, we said they were inexperienced money grabbing bas.... people and chucked 'em all out because they didn't tow the line and said stuff that the suits didn't agree with.
As a rugby man I think we waited a bloody long time to find a world class team and don't, even now, understand why we didn't try a capitalise on them. All I would ask is have we been waiting for a cyclist to hang our hat on and if one came along would we know what to do.
Come on Cav, I love ya man!!!!
